HR COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SACO is a company that designs and manufactures high visibility visual projects ranging from Permanent Architectural installations to LED Video installations for top artists.

 

As the HR Coordinator, you will report directly to the SVP, Finance & Administration and be responsible for handling activities associated with recruiting, benefits programs, and assisting in day-to-day Human Resources functions.

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: FULL TIME

LOCATION: MONTREAL, QC.

TASKS:

  • Post job openings and track candidates
  • Schedule interviews and perform background checks
  • Coordinate offers to candidates and administrative aspects of new hires (orientation, payroll setup, etc.)
  • Respond to all inquiries regarding employment application status
  • Generate HR data excel reports
  • Update and maintain employee records, leaves, health and safety documents
  • Group insurance benefits and RRSP administrative tasks (subscribing new employees, eligibility calendar, completion of forms, etc.)
  • Provide information on corporate policies, procedures, and benefits programs
  • Contribute to certain adhoc task as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University of College diploma in Human Resources
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Fluently bilingual English and French (spoken and written)
  • Must be organized and capable of handling a variety of tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgement
  • Good initiative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of HR policies, best practices, Quebec employment regulations
