Cadillac Fairview’s leading-edge office tower, Calgary City Centre, benefits from a highly sustainable design realized by renowned architect Zeidler BKDI. To provide an equally impressive night-time identity, Focus Lighting conceived a unique digital media facade (DMF) that spans 2 floors from within the building and reaches another floor outside past the roofline. Invisible during the day, the DMF becomes the voice of the tower at night, communicating beautiful content to the entire downtown core. To bring this technological vision to life, Cadillac Fairview and PCL approached SACO, who designed custom carriers that would house our award winning V-Stick technology. SACO Media Collective collaborated with Focus Lighting to provide fresh and engaging digital video content inspired by nature for the facade that regularly adapts to match the changing seasons. Last month, for the eight days leading up to the weekend finale of Pride Week, SACO Media Collective created a different piece of media content for each day of the week, inspired by the original colors of the pride flag. A name! Delta is not just the name of one of our sleek and stylish SACO Shockwave video light fixtures. It’s also the name of British band Mumford & Sons’ fourth studio album and 60-date world tour that began November 2018. OFFICIAL GIANT LED VIDEO SCREEN FOR THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL POWERED BY SACO
Since its founding in 1932, the Venice International Film Festival has brought movie stars, moguls, and the media to northern Italy. It was great to partner with Major Media Events for this event. Our SACO screen was located next to the world-famous red carpet, providing high profile exposure for our client at the most prestigious film festival in the world.
