SERVICE TECHNICIAN
- Provide on-site support, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of LED video systems and equipment.
- Resolve customer questions and issues promptly and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a technical liaison with customers for assigned projects.
- Schedule, communicate and effectively resolve service calls.
- Train customers in equipment operation and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors, including through activity reports.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to carry out installation support and field service tasks.
- Work productively both independently and as part of a team.

As we continue our journey of the Next evolution of SACO, we are looking for a forward-thinking Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will provide on-site and remote technical support for the installation, repair and maintenance of assigned SACO projects. This position requires the Service Technician to have a thorough understanding of SACO products and site details, troubleshoot and fix problems, train system users and report on activities, covering the full range of SACO‘s international installations.
Location: Between site visits worldwide, the Service Technician is expected to be at SACO’s office five days per week. SACO’s office is situated at 6000, route TransCanada, St-Laurent.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
- College diploma in relevant technical fields.
- Solid understanding of IT, electronics, LED-based systems, video, and DMX.
- Ability to read blueprints/floor plans and proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, and instructional documentation.
- Understanding of AC/DC power and low voltage signal installation and connections.
- Capability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to lift 50lb / 23kg.
- Familiarity and certification in related work safety.
- Proficiency in using common hand and electric tools.
- Able to travel internationally.
