SACO AND MSG DELIVER THE LARGEST LED SCREEN ON EARTH
SACO is proud to announce the successful launch of the extraordinary Exosphere LED display in the vibrant city of Las Vegas. SACO was entrusted by its esteemed client, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG), to design, manufacture, and seamlessly integrate this awe-inspiring and groundbreaking feature.
The Sphere LED Screen marks a significant milestone in the realm of LED technology and represents a new era of immersive visual experiences. This colossal structure illuminated the Las Vegas skyline with its impactful exterior, the Exosphere, for the first time on July 4, 2023. It is cladded with over 1.2 million full color pixels, creating a fully programmable 580,000 square foot LED screen and can render high resolution video mapping on the semi-transparent envelop of the spherical venue. The Spheres’ skin is one of the largest, controllable light surfaces on earth.
SACO’s world-class team of engineers, designers, and technicians meticulously crafted the Sphere LED Screen, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to achieve unmatched visual performance and durability. The screen boasts a remarkable pixel density and brightness, ensuring vibrant and crystal-clear imagery even in the most challenging lighting conditions. Its high refresh rate guarantees seamless video playback, captivating spectators with smooth motion and exceptional detail.
SACO also provided the LED screens for the Sphere’s interior, which opens in September and will serve as a centerpiece for a wide range of events, including concerts, sporting events, conferences, and theatrical productions. The Exosphere will be prominently featured as part of Sphere’s opening in September 2023 with U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere.
